westward ho!

 

Thanks to good fortune, unexpected shifts in weather patterns or perhaps to my amazing friend Billy's ability to shift the path of / or dissipate the strength of oncomig hurricanes with the power of his mind - it looks like we won't be getting a direct hit from hurricane "Ike".  Granted, its still early - but I dont plan on pissing Billy off any time soon. And I wouldn't suggest that anyone else piss him off either.

I knew he was a man of many talents. I was surprised that controlling the weather is one of them. Although, there was that whole "Katrina" thing. I suppose its like Jedi powers or something - takes a while to deveolp after learning that you have the ability. 

 (And if Im not accurate about the Jedi Power thing - I really dont want to hear about from you sci-fi nerds and a Star Wars buffs. Im talking to you, Amanda and Billy.)
